As a leading opponent of apartheid during the latter part of her husband’s imprisonment, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela became the face of the South African fight that would not rest until liberation was achieved. With superhuman powers already prominent in their DNA, the Black Panther and Winnie Mandela each fought for the right to exist as great heroes by protecting the richness of the land they called home and the cradle of humanity. The difference between these two, however, was that Winnie Mandela was the precious Vibranium of her time. Indestructible in thought, persistence, and existence, she was considered a savior and a villain depending on who you asked.
